Maintain a minimalist and orderly design
We rarely read every word on a website. Instead, we scan pages quickly, we select keywords and sentences. With these known behaviors in mind, it is better to appeal to emotions instead of the number of words.
The less someone has to read on your site, click or remember, the better you will be able to process and evaluate what is happening in front of them. That makes it more likely that they do what they wanted to do in the first place. Text and calls to action are necessary, of course, but be sure to divide them with larger subtitles and readable paragraphs. We also suggest use images or icons as alternative ways to communicate your point.
Design taking into account the visual hierarchy
The designer’s job is also to create designs that seek to organize the content in a clear and concise way. There are only a few key seconds to capture the attention of the other person who appreciates your content and tell you what your site is about. If you establish a clear hierarchy for your information, readers will not be able to avoid following unconsciously the logical structure of your site.

The contrast is the key
It is very important to have enough contrast between the text and the background so that the text is clear and easy to read. This should not harm the creativity, try to play with the colors and find a stable point between the two. Can not read what can not be seen
Older websites had very small text sources, over time people were understanding that the 12px fonts in size were hard to read. When the screen is a half meter from the reader, most people will have difficulty seeing these small sources. A typical rule that you will see in many websites is to keep the source of the body at at least 16px. This is a good reference to start, but keep in mind that depending on the source you use this can change.
Types of fonts and their limits
The font family that you use in a web page can play a crucial role in the design, the Serif fonts are those that have small dots or lines that are projected at the end of his letters. Times New Roman, for example is from a Serif font family. Sans Serif literally means “Without Serif”. Make sure your website is easy to navigate
Maybe you want to venture to try something out of the ordinary in your design, but, the browsing of a web page is not the ideal place to venture into crazy ideas or alternatives. It is not ideal to send your visitors on a hunting trip to cross your site. A web page with a solid navigation helps search engines to index your content more effectively, while at the same time helping to improve the experience of your visitors.
Create a link to the homepage in the logo of your page: it is a very common practice to which your visitors are accustomed and will save you from many precious clicks.
Choose a suitable position: it must be in the top (in the header) of your website and structured according to the importance of each section.
Offer a vertical navigation: if your site is of the long scroll variety, try using an anchor menu. With a single click, viewers can quickly return to the top, bottom or directly to any section of the site.
Work on your footer: your footer is probably the last you see on your site, so remember to include all important links there. This may include a abbreviated version of your menu, social icons and additional important links that your visitors may need.
